India family gets Christmas miracle as daughter thought lost in 2004 tsunami comes home!

A Christmas miracle was bestowed upon a family in India on Friday.

Back in 2004 their seven year old daughter was swept away in a tsunami. After weeks of searching they were certain their daughter was dead.

On Friday their daughter now 15 found them. The girl had been 'adopted' by a woman who found her after the tsunami. The child told her family that the woman forced her to beg, sometimes beating her and making her stay in the streets until 1 a.m.

When the girl stopped bringing in money they women kicked her out. She told the girl to go back to her parents who were in the town of Meulaboh.

The girl says once she made her way to Meukaboh and laid eyes on her mother she knew her right away.

The family has no doubts that the girl is there long lost daughter and have welcomed her into their arms and homes with open hearts.

The girls mother told the press 'she has her father's face."
